Pokemon: Aquatro the Lost Legendary

Wow, been a long time since I submitted anything to this account. Last time I submitted sprites and such, some trolls I guess reported my artwork as "Copyright Violations" and many were removed. This is one of the major reasons that pushed me into retirement from sprites and I never looked back. But since this is where I keep my Pixel art, I figured this was the best place to submit this, and hope for the best this time. If things go array again, I always have SheezyArt to host my sprites.
Yes, it has also been a long time since I retired from pixel art and making sprites, but I found something that inspired me to pick up my MS Paint pencil and templates again, just this once.

Recently on my =SaturnGrl account, I submitted a drawing of my old famous Fake Legendary Pokemon sprite, formerly known as Floraquatro: Now Named Floracinco

I renamded the legendary bird after I saw ~Esepibe's deviation of Aquatro and I absolutely loved the design and concept of this Aquatic Legendary Bird fakemon. I just found myself inspired and I set out to put together this sprite based on ~Esepibe's character.

It is basically 7 frames of the same 2-framed sprites, animated in the style of the older Pokemon games, probably closer to the Emerald game than any. The first frame of the sprite is replicated from the original pose of Aquatro from ~Esepibe's artwork. I wanted to match the image one way or another. The second frame is one I designed myself specifically for the animation purposes.

I thought about going with a Pokemon Black/White animated sprite, but that would have been super complicated and time consuming. Lots of frames to animate and I just don't have the time.

Well, I hope this sprite is well recieved, and I hope ~Esepibe approves of how it turned out.
